Marvel at unusual fig trees, crater lakes, scenic waterfalls, spectacular lookouts and historic towns. Finish the day off in the fascinating landscpae of Granite Gorge, where you can hand feed wild Rock Wallabies (small kangaroos).
Travel route from Cairns, Queensland
To Gordonvale and via Gillies Highway 700 metres higher to the Atherton Tableland. Visit of Cathedral Fig Tree (Strangler Fig), Morning Tea at the volcanic crater of Lake Barrine, Twin Kauri Pines (gigantic trees), Lake Eacham with choice of swimming or walking around the lake through pristine rainforest.
Yungaburra, Curtain Fig Tree (Strangler Fig), Malanda, Millaa Millaa Waterfalls, Millaa Millaa Lookout with spectacular views, historic Herberton, Atherton, Granite Gorge Nature Park with handfeeding of wild Rock Wallabies, Mareeba, Cairns.

Suitable for wheel chairs
Our Atherton Tableland Tour is suited for wheel chair bound people. Even the selected 3 km walk around Lake Eacham follows a wheel chair proof track. Only the access to Granite Gorge requires some minor assistance on a short distance.
